Desperate cry for help
Please, someone stop me from installing Kubuntu on my unbacked-up, unpartitioned Windows box on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. Man, is it tempting.
Update: Well, I managed to control myself, but I am thinking of doing so this week.
The only bad thing I can say about Kubuntu is that it isn’t GNOME. 🙂
Actually, I decided to play with straight-up Ubuntu last week, and you’re right, Ed, GNOME is greatly improved. I got as far in the install as the dialog of last resort, but not having backed up my work windows machine, I was loath to just let it go. How reliable *is* qparted? I know, I know, back up, but how reliable is it? Yikes.
